HAWAA HAWAAI MOVIE REVIEWS

The movie is about a rural child ( Arjun Harishchandra Waghmare) son of a cotton farmer.  He with his family shifted  from the village after his baba’s shocking death, to the slums of Mumbai. He works in a tea stall and toils whole day to support his family.

Even slumdogs have dreams bundled in their heart. They also dare to dream and work hard to achieve them though they donot have millions and mansion but they have full determination to full fill their sapna.

one evening he witnesses a skating coach , lucky (saqib) training skating to a group of kids and from their he had a goal in his life . His friends Gochi, Bhura, Abdul and Murugan who have XL sized heart understand him and his dream “wheel balance ka khel” and made his passion her own. Making the best of waste , they make a pair of Hawaa Hawaai (skates) with the help of a car workshop’s engineer. The movie further spokes about how Arjun gets Lucky as his coach and ultimately turn into a district-level champion is a story that wins hearts .

The other twist in the movie when Lucky (saqib) fall in love with Pragya Yadav who does not support her own brother when she comes to know he is in the wrong. Their romance, however, is subtle and grows naturally.

Amole Gupte’s Hawaa Hawaai is not just the story of a skating champion, it’s the story of a huge divide between rich and poor, and it is also the story of underprivileged kids who are told not to dream.
